Traffic Impact Statement
An earlier group project that aimed to analyse the impact of the then to-be-opened Sydney South East Light Rail (L2/L3) lines.
Using Aimsun software, we compiled a Traffic Impact Statement (TIS) on the local network effects that the new light rail line could have. We followed the standard procedure, creating large Origin-Destination matrices and modelling traffic flow in the software to get the valuable data needed to assess not just the effects to traffic, but also the environmental impacts.
