My name is Reina Miura (they/she) and I am a young aspiring urban planner & engineer.
I am currently studying a Master of Urban Planning at the University of Melbourne having recently graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Hons) & a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
From my academic background as a civil engineer specialising in transport networks, I have developed a passion for urban geography and planning.
My background as a Japanese-Australian trans person lends me a unique vantage point to see and understand how the urban environment shapes our lives.
I live and work on the stolen land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded.
